The Sodus Town Court is located on the lower level of the Municipal Building at 14 Mill Street in Sodus. There is parking behind the building. If you look at the picture above, the entrance to the court is on the lower left side of the building.

I appear in Sodus Town Court regularly, and it's one of my favorites. The two judges have are fiercely independent, which is exactly what you want from the judiciary. This is not to say that these judges are "easy" or defense friendly. To the contrary, they will hold defense attorneys to just as high a standard as they hold prosecutors. From my perspective, that is great. You cannot over-prepare, and this is a court where my hours spent on trial preparation pays off.

Reductions for DWI charges have become less common across Wayne County - even on first offenses with no accident - but they do happen. I prepare for trial on every case, knowing that meticulous trial preparation always results in the best possible outcomes for my client. Plea deals often materialize after trial prep when there was no reduction offer initially. If no reasonable plea materializes, then we head to trial as prepared as possible.
